ENFORCEMENT OF BASIC ALLOWANCE FOR SUBSISTENCE (BAS) FOR SOLDIERS
ATTENDING FIELD TRAINING EVENTS. Beginning in Aug 23, the US Army Audit
Agency will be conducting audits with the objective of verifying that
Soldiers who received basic allowance for subsistence were properly
charged for meals while they attended field training. The audit will
focus on, but isn’t limited to, the role of the Integrated Personnel and
Pay System (IPPS-A) within the BAS process, and field trainings with
meals initiated during May and June 2023 by Divisional units at Fort

4. IPPS-A ITEMS.
a. CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT (CRM) AGED CASES NEEDING
ATTENTION. To ensure timely IPPS-A CRM processing, Army Service Center
has been tasked with monitoring all Active Component Pay Impacting
Priority CRM cases. Part of this effort is to identify and reach out to
those who have open/unresolved case(s) exceeding 30 days. When a Case is
initiated by a Member, it is routed to that Members’ lowest level
Provider Group. Cases are initially submitted as the HR Case and routed
to the Members’ Battalion (BN) S1 Provider Group. HR Cases that cannot
be resolved at the BN level can be escalated to the level of support
that can resolve the issue. If you are having trouble resolving the
case, please escalate to HRC/Tier 1 for technical issues or your local
MPD, FMSU or AMPO for MILPAY issues. We have included the case number
and brief details of the case in the attachment at the following link.

b. HOW TO EDIT THE "MORE INFORMATION" SECTION ON A PAR. “When
providing information on PARs, we have been treating the "More
Information" section like the comments section on a 4187. However, when
the information needs to be corrected, we have had to terminate the PAR
and resubmit due to not being able to edit the "more information"
section after the PAR is initially submitted to the S1 pool. While
reviewing actions in IPPS-A, I found a solution to our problem. Please

DATE". When trying to add assignment history for SM's in IPPS-A I wasn't
able to make the begin date "less than the conversion date". This is
probably self-explanatory, and I've tried to play around with the system
