2. COMMAND ASSESSMENT PROGRAM (CAP25) PEER AND SUBORDINATE ASSESSMENT REQUESTS. Last week, the Command Assessment Program (CAP25) began its peer and subordinate assessment collections for this year’s CAP candidates. This process continues over the next several weeks and is an integral step in developing a holistic picture of each candidate’s leadership and interpersonal talents. This year we used an expanded search process to locate peers and subordinates, as the Army does not have any exact mechanism for identifying peers and subordinates over the course of a Soldier’s career. As a result, many personnel are receiving feedback requests for leaders they may not know. If you receive such a request, simply login, select the option to abstain, and cite you do not know that leader. This will end the assessment and prevent further emails requesting your feedback on that candidate.
