SGM: I want to make sure everyone is tracking a recent discussion that
I’ve had with the team here in regards to the FY22 SSG Evaluation Board
My Board File (MBF) that is about to close. We are going to extend the
MBF closing date from 15 Jan 22 to 25 Jan 22. This will allow all
eligible SSGs to view there file an extra 10 days and continue to see

A Presidential Memorandum was issued on 8 August 2020 in order to provide relief during the COVID-19 pandemic, to temporarily defer military members’ 6.2% Social Security (Old Age, Survivors, and Disability Insurance) or OASDI tax withholdings from September thru December 2020, if your monthly basic pay rate was less than $8,666.66. Collections for the deferred tax withholdings were made between 1 January 2021 and 31 December 2021 at the rate of 2% of disposable pay.
