MILPER Number: 24-096 Amendment 2 Fiscal Year (FY) 2024 United States Army Reserve Officer (USAR) Senior Service College (SSC) Selection Board

1.  This MILPER message expires upon publication of FY25 guidance or 365 days from issuance, whichever is earlier.


2.  Amendment to Paragraph 8, Line C: Which currently reads: Unless non-AGR officers will have no more than 20 years of AFS on or before 1 July 2025, non-AGR officers applying for a resident opportunity cannot have more than 16 years of Active Federal Service (AFS) as of 30 April 2024 to preclude officers from reaching sanctuary during resident SSC. The change reads:  Unless non-AGR officers will have more than 20 years of AFS on or before 1 July 2025, non-AGR officers applying for a resident opportunity cannot have more than 16 years of Active Federal Service (AFS) as of 30 April 2024 to preclude officers from reaching sanctuary during resident SSC.
