The purpose of this message is to provide clarifying guidance for
Soldiers using the Integrated Personnel and Pay System-Army (IPPS-A) to
request Expanded Military Parental Leave. Additionally, this is an
extension of MILPER 23-004 until changes to the MPLP are reflected in AR
600-8-10.
