1. HQDA EXORD 107-24 CLEAR THE ARMY: BACKGROUND INVESTIGATION AND NATIONAL SECURITY ADJUDICATION REQUIREMENTS FOR MILITARY PERSONNEL (CUI), DTG: 052056Z JAN 24. Reference A, this EXORD, designates all military positions as national security positions and requires the appointment, enlistment, and induction or continued service of each member of the military departments or their reserve components be based on a favorably adjudicated National Agency Check with Law and Credit (NACLC) or Tier 3 (T3) background investigation (BI) or higher. Effective immediately, all Army commanders (to include civilian equivalents, and secretariat and principal officials of HQDA will take immediate action to ensure all Soldiers within their command or organization have a favorably adjudicated NACLC/T3 or higher background investigation in the Defense Information Security System (DISS) or its successor system. Soldiers failing to complete background investigation paperwork or who fail to obtain and maintain a current favorably adjudicated background investigation will be subject to personnel procedures contained in Annex c, this EXORD. https://www.milsuite.mil/book/docs/DOC-1314976

 

 

2. RENEWAL OF THE EXCEPTION TO POLICY (ETP) TO AWARD THE OVERSEAS SERVICE RIBBON TO ALL SOLDIERS DEPLOYED TO EUROPE IN SUPPORT OF ATLANTIC RESOLVE, 1 MAR 24. Army G-1 Memo:  This memo approves the request to renew the exception to policy (ETP) to award the Overseas Service Ribbon (OSR) to all Soldiers deployed to Europe (regardless of specific location) for at least 270-consecutive days (nine months) in support of Operation Atlantic Resolve (OAR), retroactive to 3 April 2014.      b. S1 POOL METRICS REPORT FROM IPPS-A. ”Attached is a reporting tool I built out of the Monitor approvals section of IPPS-A. This is to help support NCOIC / OICs with their metrics reporting on actions their team has processed. It is formatted for a simple copy paste from each report with minimal editing. This MILPER Message applies to the Regular Army (RA) and the U.S. Army Reserve (USAR). The Director, Army National Guard (ARNG), will issue supplementary guidance for ARNG personnel. 3.
