BLUF: This MILPER message describes the specific eligibility criteria to allow officers to request to defer promotion consideration for (Opt Out of) the FY25 Army Competitive Category (ACC) Lieutenant Colonel (LTC) Promotion Selection Board (PSB). This only applies to officers in the Primary Zone of consideration. Officers may request to opt- out from 10 May through 10 June 2024. Requests received after 2359 hours ET on 10 June 2024 will be returned without action.
