POSITION COMPATIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

The individual(s) must qualify for and be placed in the following compatible MOS/AOC: 91B2

MINIMUM APPOINTMENT REQUIREMENTS

  1. Statewide: The applicant must be a current member of the California Army National Guard in order to apply.
  2. All applicants must have the potential to become MOSQ within 12 months of hire date in order to apply. This means that the ASVAB line scores required for the MOS must be possessed by the applicant.
  3. If accessed as an E4, the selected applicant must have less than 9 years total Active Federal Service on the date the applicant is assessed into the AGR Program.
  4. If accessed as an E5, the selected applicant must have less than 13 years total Active Federal Service on the date the applicant is assessed into the AGR Program. (Not applicable to current AGR Members)
  5. Over-grade applicants must include a memorandum stating acceptance of an administrative reduction with their packet.
  6. AR 185-13, Table 2-1, Rule E (2a) states that “Staff sergeant, or above, must possess the required grade and MOS level, authorized for the AGR duty position.” This means that if any Non-Duty MOSQ E6 is selected for this position, they will have to take an administrative reduction to E5 to meet the regulatory guidance. E6 Non-Duty MOSQ applicants must include a memorandum stating acceptance of an administrative reduction with their packet.
  7. Accessions into the AGR Program with assignment to Positions of Significant Trust (POST) requires screening of personnel selected for suitability and security before assignment to POST. In order to ensure the best qualified personnel serve in identified POST. The Position of Trust standards are qualifications for specified assignments and not a standard of service.
  8. (Conditions for Employment) IAW AR 135-18, NGR 600-5, and CA ARNG Pam 600-200 applicants must meet the following requirements prior to applications being forwarded for board consideration: Applications from Soldiers who do not qualify under AR 135-18, Table 2–1, or who have a non-waivable disqualification under Table 2–3, or who fail to meet any additional requirements prescribed by Chief, National Guard Bureau, will be disapproved and returned to the applicant. Soldiers who qualify under Table 2–1, but have a waivable disqualification under Table 2–2, will attach a request for the appropriate waiver to their applications.
  9. Stabilization Policy (When Applicable): IAW NGR (AR) 600-5 Chapter 3, Para 3-5(c). Soldiers entering an initial three-year tour will be stabilized for the first 18 months of their initial tour.
  10. Must be in compliance with FRAGO I, HQDA EXORD 161-13 Sexual Harassment/Assault Response and Prevention Program Army Stand-Down and SMOM 15-017, Screening of Title 32 Positions of Significant Trust and Authority (POSTA).
  11. Applicants must not have been relieved for cause from any duty position within the 36 months preceding the application date or the scheduled date of entry into the AGR Program.
  12. Must have no record of conviction by special or general courts-martial or civilian courts of offenses listed in AR 27-10 (Military Justice), chapter 24 or otherwise required to register as a sexual offender under AR 27-10, chapter 24.
  13. IAW AR 135-18, Table 2-1 Rule B (1). Prior to entry on active duty or full-time National Guard (FTNGD) in the AGR program, must meet medical fitness standards for retention, (with the exception of Soldiers testing positive for human immunodeficiency virus (HIV)) and be medically certified as having no trace of illegal drugs. Soldiers testing positive for HIV will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis as directed in DoDI 6130.03. HIV test must be within six months prior to initial entry into the AGR Program.
  14. IAW AR 135-18, Table 2-1 Rule C (4). If an enlisted Soldier, must have completed initial entry training and be currently qualified in an Army MOS.
  15. Must have a SECRET Security Clearance.
  16. Must meet the Army body fat standards IAW AR 600–9.
  17. Applicants must have a current passing Army Fitness Test (AFT).
  18. MIL ED Requirement: Must have the Appropriate Military Education for Grade
  19. Must meet the Army medical retention standards in accordance with AR 40-501, Chapter 3.
  20. Applicants must meet medical fitness standards. PHA must be within 12 months prior to orders publication.
  21. Applicants must not be Flagged (Adverse, AFT, or Height and Weight) or be in a Medical Non-Deployable (MND) status.
  22. (Mandatory for AGRs with less than 3yrs in current assignment) AGR Branch must receive BDE command concurrence with the submission of your AGR packet. Command concurrence could either be an email to AGR Branch or a signed memorandum.
  23. All applicants will sign a NGB Form 34-2 (Certificate of Agreement and Understanding) during their accession process into the ARNG Title 32 AGR FTNGD Program.

BRIEF JOB DESCRIPTION

Maintain accountability of unit property, sub-hand receipts, and maintenance program. Coordinates with Battalion S-4 for the collection and turn-in of excess or obsolete equipment as well as the fielding of new equipment. Request, receive, exchange, issue, recover, and turn-in personnel clothing in accordance with (IAW) current directives. Account for and maintain serviceability records for all Organizational Clothing and Individual Equipment (OCIE). Ensure Unit conducts, maintains, and submits their monthly sensitive item and cyclic inventories. Assists in maintaining the Unit Class IX registers. Track Unit Operational Readiness (OR) rating and vehicle status. Responsible for accomplishing the Unit Commander’s plan and program to attain the Unit’s supply accountability and mobilization readiness objectives. Operate the Modification Management Information System (MMIS) and Global Command and Control System- Army (GCCS-A) to maintain automated accountability and reporting for Unit logistics functions. Have property accountability and prepare for the Aviation Resource Management Survey (ARMS). Late notice of travel is possible and required along with extended work hours and weekends as needed by the command to meet requirements and missions as necessary. Attend all unit training assemblies, additional training assemblies, and annual training periods. Attend MOSQ School, additional skill identifier (ASI) required schools, and training courses conducted by the National Guard Professional Education Center (NGPEC) as required. Attend the Unit Environmental Compliance Officer (UECO) course within 12 months of assignment. Become knowledgeable of, and perform duties in accordance with all state and federal laws and Army regulations governing hazardous materials handling and storage and hazardous waste storage and disposal. Comply with state and federal regulations governing the procurement of recycled material and waste reduction. Maintain records and provide information regarding environmental actions. Work closely with PBO during Command Supply Discipline Program (CSDP) inspections, Organizational Inspection Program (OIP) and assists the Unit Commander with his program. Perform all other duties as directed.

Preferred Qualifications

Documented working knowledge of of GCCS-A, MMIS, ISM, CCDF, UECO, HAZMAT, CSDP, CMDP, OIP, TEAMS, and Windows computer applications. Documented experience as a Supply NCO, Property Book NCO, or OCONUS deployment in a company or battalion supply position. Ability to work individually, without full time supervision, and as part of a team. Secret Clearance. Completed AMMO-62. Applicants who are not MOSQ 91B, must complete MOSQ within 1 year of hire.

Qualifying ASVAB Score

Minimum score of 92 in aptitude area MM; or a combination of 87 in aptitude are MM and 85 in aptitude area GT.
