S1NET Message Summary - 5 Nov 20

 1. AIM COMMANDER’S DASHBOARD. From HRC OPMD: The Commander's Dashboard is an AIM feature designed to provide leaders with the ability to view active duty officer resumes. Searches can be executed by name or keyword. All General Officers, COLs, CSL LTCs and CW5s are eligible to view the dashboard.  General Officers and CSL Commanders can grant additional access and/or delegate two individuals to manage access on their behalf.      a. UPCOMING IPPS-A LIVE TRAINING. See attached (at the following link) for a summary of upcoming IPPS-A live training with meeting links. This summary details training currently scheduled for November 2020. Unique training CONOPs are posted as training details come available. 

     b. IPPS-A DATA CORRECTNESS CAMPAIGN – 09 NOV 2020. Attached is the CONOP for upcoming IPPS-A Data Correctness Campaign training with an emphasis on DQAR Analysis. All HR professionals, with a special focus on BDE/BN S1 personnel, should attend this session. 

3. INDEFINITE ID CARD AT AGE 65 FOR SPOUSES OF RETIREES AND OTHER ELIGIBLE DEPENDENTS. From the Army DEERS Project Office, HRC: Recently Under Secretary of Defense (Personnel and Readiness) approved the Army's request to reduce the age for indefinite ID card issuance for spouses of retirees and other eligible dependents from age 75 to age 65.  Spouses of retirees and other eligible dependents often have a difficult time getting to and from installation ID card offices. On-line appointments at some installations have wait times as long as six weeks. (DMDC) still will need to implement necessary system changes in DEERS. Until DMDC incorporates the change, ID Card Sites cannot issue the indefinite ID cards. The update is scheduled to occur sometime in third quarter, fiscal year 2021.


     a. LATEST 2020 CIP CHECKLIST CONTRIBUTIONS BY I CORPS, 3ID AND XVIII CORPS HROCs. FORSCOM G1, AG HRTAB would like highlight the latest contributions of the following HR Operation Centers (HROCs):  I Corps, XVIII Corps and 3rd Infantry Division.  These 2020 Command Inspection Program (CIP) Inspection Checklist will assist units on implementing the Army's action plan to prioritize People and Teams.  Great job HROC Teams in leading the way and taking care of Soldiers and their families!

     b. COMBINED ARMS SUPPORT COMMAND (CASCOM) IS HIRING DURING THE ATAP 21-02 MANNING CYCLE. The Commanding General, CASCOM, is hosting a virtual ATAP 21-02 Town Hall session on 09 Nov 2020, 1130 hours (EST) for Field Grade, Company Grade, and Warrant Officers interested in challenging and rewarding assignment opportunities at Fort Lee, VA. If you have been identified as a 21-02 mover in AIM2 and are interested in leading sustainment operations across the Army, come join the "Army's Sustainment Think Tank" and be part of our professional team!

     c. AMEDD CLINICIAN AND STAFF OFFICERS SEEKING CHALLENGE, GROWTH, AND OPPORTUNITY. The 30th Medical Brigade would like to offer all 21-02 AMEDD Officers the chance to compete for one of our 70 positions across three installations, including Smith Barracks, Baumholder, Germany; Rhine Ordinance Barracks, Kaiserslautern, Germany; and Sembach, Germany, home of Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 30th Medical Brigade. Many of our Clinicians work at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center to maintain sharp skills needed when called to deploy to various missions.

     d. WE'RE HIRING!!! THE U.S. ARMY MANEUVER CENTER OF EXCELLENCE (MCOE), FT. BENNING, GA. The MCOE Team is looking for motivated 1LT(P) thru Colonels to serve in a variety of key positions across the MCOE, to include: the Armor and Infantry Schools, Training Brigades, Directorate of Training & Doctrine (DOTD), and the Command & Tactics Directorate (CATD), and Maneuver Capabilities Development and Integration Directorate (MCDID). Key positions on the MCOE Staff include the G1 and G4. Interested personnel are highly encouraged to contact MCOE POCs for positions they are considering in the marketplace.

     e. CHALLENGING MI OFFICER ASSIGNMENTS - U.S. FORCES KOREA (USFK) -  "ASSIGNMENT OF CHOICE." The USFK J2 develops recognized experts in intelligence focused on joint warfighting. Be part of the team that expands strong partnerships with our Republic of Korea (ROK), FVEY, and component counterparts. For USFK, we have 13 field grade positions available in AIM, some of which provide Joint credit.

     f. USA MARKETING & ENGAGEMENT BRIGADE OFFICER ASSIGNMENT OPPORTUNITIES (AIM 2). USAMEB, seeks skilled and highly motivated officers (LG, AV, IN, AV Warrant) to fill positions in the Army’s most unique unit, where you have an opportunity to connect America’s People to America’s Army.
