1. HRC ENLISTED PROMOTION ITEMS.
a. HRC JR ENL PROMs - INFO PAPER - TROOP SCHOOLS - UPDATE RESIDENT-DISTANCE LEARNING (DL) EDUCATION - AS OF 14 MAR 2024. Previously announced guidance on 21 February 2024 on updating Resident Military Education (and Distant Learning - DL) courses within the Integrated Personnel and Pay System - Army (IPPS-A) was incorrect. Although a user with “HR System Admin” role access could add a course, they are not able to add a duration in the number of hours for the course. Without the number of hours being entered within the task, will not render promotion points. A request has been submitted to the IPPS-A development team to amend the guidance cited within the IPPS-A Users Manuel, Process 15-4, to reflect this update. Solider should not hold 00G/00D as PMOS/Secondary MOS (SMOS)/Additional MOS (AMOS). Soldiers holding 09S/09W will be evaluated in their SMOS. From the NCOA at Fort Jackson: Due to issues experienced during the Army-Wide PAI, the Commandant of the NCOA at Fort Jackson, SC has requested that we distribute the short tutorial, attached at the following link, of how to complete TEMP ASSIGNMENT in IPPS-A. They have had issues with the parent units of the Student NCOs assigning them to that status. 5. IPPS-A QUESTIONS.
a. BATTLE RYTHM FOR IPPS-A PROCESSES. I'm at a Reserve pay training, and the battle rhythm came up. Since IPPSA came out the old battle rhythm hasn't been updated. I was hoping someone had one for daily, weekly, monthly, that was accurate. As a learning ARA this would be a fantastic aid or tool.

The purpose of this message is to announce the replacement of the Army Learning Management System (ALMS) 4.0 with the Army Training Information System-Learning (ATIS-LEARNING) capability. No later than 14 April 2024, ATIS-LEARNING will go live. Recommend that all learners complete any active training prior to 22 March 2024 to avoid delays during the ATISLEARNING transition.
