b. IS THERE A WAY TO FORCE A SUPERVISOR TO INSERT A ROUTING CHAIN IN AN
ABSENCE SO THAT IT PREVENTS THEM FROM APPROVING IT? I am not sure how
other units around the Army route absences but in my unit, the SM sends
their absence request to their supervisor, then the supervisor adds a
Template ID which routes it to myself and my team and then we send it
wherever it needs to go. I have noticed that supervisors forget to add
the routing and just click approve thus approving the absences at their
level when the (BN/BDE) Commander needs to be the approver. My questions
are, is there a way to force a supervisor to add a routing chain before
