2. General:
This initiative is an Army Aviation program with the objective to select
Noncommissioned Officers to develop Tactics, Techniques and Procedures
(TTPs) and Program of Instruction (POI) for operation, maintenance, and
integration of the MV-75 Future Long Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA).
Members of the Operational Development Team (ODT) will provide
warfighter representation in operational tests and lead development of
tactics, techniques, and procedures during MV-75 development. Through
coordination with the Human Resources Command (HRC) Aviation (AV)
Branch, the Aviation Center of Excellence (AVCOE) Commanding General
will select highly qualified Noncommissioned Officers to support the
MV-75 ODT at AVCOE. The ODT is intended to be an invaluable source of
U.S. Army tilt-rotor expertise that is essential to the development and
fielding of the FLRAA. Participants will be a select group of
individuals with demonstrated exceptional technical expertise and great
potential to lead in future MV-75 organizations. If selected for the
program, participants may be eligible to receive V-22 or tilt-rotor
familiarization or qualification training based on U.S. Army and joint
service availability. This program is one of many broadening experiences
to enhance the participant’s professional development.
