2. The Army seeks qualified Soldiers to become Air and Missile Defense (AMD) Systems Repairers (MOS 14W). The 14W AMD Systems Repairer is a specialized Soldier trained to troubleshoot, fault isolate, repair, service, modify, fabricate, and inspect AMD systems across Army formations that include Patriot Battalion, Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) Battery, AMD Composite Battalion, Indirect Fire Protection Capability (IFPC) Battalion, Division Air Defense (DIVAD) Battalion, and Counter – Small Unmanned Aircraft Systems (C-sUAS) Battery. MOS 14W enables commanders with an exponentially more agile and lethal capability on the modern battlefield than disparate operator and maintainer skillsets.
