1. Purpose: This message provides consolidated guidance and reiterates
current policy for the administration and payment of Imminent Danger Pay
(IDP) to eligible Soldiers and will expire NLT 365 days from
publication. This message is intended to ensure all leaders, finance
professionals, and Soldiers understand the governing regulations and
entitlements.
2. Applicability: This message applies to the
total Army (Regular Army, Army National Guard, and U.S. Army Reserve
Soldiers on active duty).
