The United States Army John F. Kennedy Special Warfare Center and
School (USAJFKSWCS) Regimental Honors, Awards, and Affiliation Program
(RHAA) on behalf of the Psychological Operations (PO) Regiment requests
nominations for the 2026 Psychological Operations Major General (MG)
Robert A. McClure Medallion, for consideration during the next PO
Regimental Honors Panel.
3. The MG Robert A. McClure
medallion program was established in 2009 and in named after MG Robert
A. McClure as he is considered the founder of modern Psychological
Operations. The medallion is intended to recognize those individuals who
have significantly contributed to the welfare and advancement of the PO
Regiment and / or greater Psychological Operations / Influence /
Information community of interest as an active or reserve component
Soldier, qualified Sister-Service, or partner nation service member, or
as a qualified department of Army Civilian and / or civilian in a
private capacity and consists of three tiers (Gold, Silver and Bronze)
with recommended criteria associated with each tier. These recognized
individuals serve as role models, advocates, and public examples to all
members of the Regiments. Through their example, they enhance unit
morale, cohesion, esprit de corps, promote a warfighting ethos, and
demonstrate an unwavering sense of pride and selfless service for
today’s PO Soldiers.
