Key Requirements

  • Must meet AGR initial-entry requirements under NGR 600-5 and AR 135-18.
  • Applicants selected for AGR must have a passing record AFT within six months of accession.
  • Must meet Army body-composition standards and medical/readiness requirements described in the official announcement.
  • 74D reclassification requires a minimum ST aptitude score of 100.
  • Applicants must meet the additional WMD-CST requirements in NGR 500-3 and pass the required Level A PPE performance measures test before selection.
  • The CST assignment carries a minimum three-year tour and requires completion of the Civil Support Skills Course when applicable.
  • Because of mission requirements, the selectee must reside or agree to move within 50 miles of Camp Robinson, North Little Rock, Arkansas.

Position Duties

The official announcement describes the position as a 61st Civil Support Team survey member supporting CBRN hazard detection, monitoring, identification, sampling, evidence preservation, contamination-control procedures, casualty extraction, equipment readiness, and joint response operations with local, state, and federal first responders.
