Position
Human Resources Sergeant, duty MOS 42A, minimum and maximum grade E6/SSG. The position is with HHC, 1889th RSG at Butte, Montana.
Who May Apply
This position is open to current members of the Montana Army National Guard AGR Program. AGR Soldiers must have completed the first 16 months of their initial AGR tour as of the closing date. Applicants must be able to obtain a SECRET clearance, must be E6/SSG, and are required to be 42A qualified.
Application Requirements
- Letter of Intent in memorandum format.
- Soldier Talent Profile (STP) from IPPS-A.
- Current MEDPROS Individual Medical Readiness report printed within the last 30 days.
- Most recent Army Fitness Test record, using an ATIS printout or DA Form 705.
- Body-composition assessment documentation.
- Last three finalized DA Form 2166-9 or DA Form 67-10 evaluation reports.
- Biographical Sketch IAW NGR 600-200, Figure G-3.
- Any missing or expired mandatory document must be explained by a detailed Memorandum for Record.
How to Apply
Emailed packets are preferred. Application documents must be PDF format, in no more than two attachments, and the emailed packet should not exceed 12 MB. Emailed applications must be received before 2400 Mountain Standard Time on the closing date. Applications may also be hand-carried to the HRO AGR Branch by 1630 on the closing date. Eligibility and Conditions
Applicants must meet all eligibility requirements as of the closing date. Applications are screened under AR 135-18, AR 40-501, DA Pam 611-21, NGR 600-5, AR 600-78, and AR 614-200. Incomplete or late packets are not forwarded to the selecting official. The first 18 months of the tour are stabilized except for mobilization or force-structure modifications. AGR Soldiers must maintain a Government Credit Card and are subject to periodic urinalysis drug screening.
