A.  Office of The Surgeon General Regulation 15-35 (Boards, Commissions, and Committees: Award of the “A” Proficiency Designator), 24 February 2022.

B.  Military Personnel Message Number 26-061, DASG-HR, 18 February 2026, Subject: FY26 Award of the AMEDD “A” Proficiency Designator.

1.  This message will expire no later than 1 August 2027.

2.  The Army Surgeon General approved the FY26 AMEDD “A” Proficiency Designator award results.

3.  The FY26 AMEDD “A” Proficiency Designator by-corps and by-name list will be published on 31 July 2026 at 0730 Eastern Daylight Time through the U.S. Army Human Resources Command, Health Services Division, AMEDD Command Management section web page at https://www.hrc.army.mil/content/AMEDD%
20Command%20Management.

4.  Talent managers will update the awardees’ medical proficiency code with the 9A designator in the Integrated Personnel and Pay System – Army and upload their supporting certificate into the Interactive Personnel Electronic Records Management System.
