1. This message will expire no later than (NLT) 1 September 2027.
2. This message announces the establishment of the Warrant Officer Master Course (WOMC), WOMC Program Office, WOMC Strategic Selection Panel, and the eligibility criteria, attendance procedures, funding process, and WOMC course dates for FY27, Academic Year 2026-2027 (AY26-27).
3. Program Description: The Warrant Officer Master Course (WOMC) is the Chief Warrant Officer of the Army’s (CWA’s) course to educate and develop Chief Warrant Officer Fives (CW5s) selected to serve in their first assignment as a Command Chief Warrant Officer (CCWO) or Senior Warrant Officer Advisor (SWOA) in Army Commands and Directorates at the General Officer/Senior Executive Service (GO/SES) level to include those serving in Chief Warrant Officer of the Branch (CWOB) and Regimental Chief Warrant Officer (RCWO) positions.
4. Overview: WOMC is a six (6) day strategic leader development course aligned under the U.S. Army Strategic Education Program (ASEP) at Carlisle Barracks, PA. It is the final professional education and development in the Army’s Warrant Officer Education System. WOMC enhances senior warrant officers’ understanding of their strategic roles and responsibilities to better support and advise senior commanders in the facilitation
of mission command, leader development, talent management, organizational risk management, and readiness to meet emerging challenges.
5. WOMC Target Audience.

The Commander empowers the CCWO’s role as a critical component of the daily operations, mission command, and leadership of the organization. The CCWO complements the organization’s chain of command and supports the communication and supervision structure through the facilitation of mission command.
b. The SWOA is the senior warrant officer within their command or directorate who is appointed on orders with the additional duty of SWOA. The SWOA serves as a principal advisor to the commander and staff on the performance, training, appearance, conduct, and talent management of the organization’s warrant officers and any other warrant officer-related functions and duties the commander may designate.
