TARY R'l!SERVJf.TTUN, VIRGINIA.-1. The following-described tracts of land,
now a part of the Fort Myer Military Reservation, Virginia, are hereby made a
part of the Arlington National Cemetery, Virginia. and placed under the jurisdic-
tion of The Quartermaster General :
a. The parcel of land, known as the Fort Myer Horse Show Grounds, beginning
at P. B. and P. P. Monument No. 404.32, said monument being in the easterly
right-of-way line of Arlington Ridge Road (right-of-way approximately 100 feet
wide) and the northerly line of land under the jurisdiction of the Department of
the Interior and running thence by true bearings:
N. 4°14'03" W., a distance of 1,477.82 feet along the sald easterly right-of-way
line of Arlington Ridge Road to a point; thence N. 84°37'11" E., a distance ot
553.89 feet to a point in the westerly right-of-way line of the Pennsylvania Rail-
road; thence S. 10°55'29" E., a distance of 649.05 feet along said westerly right•
of-way llne to the point of beginning of a curve to tbe left having a radius of
1,748.12 feet ; thence southeasterly along the arc of said curve to the left {bearing
and length of long chord being E. 29°00'40" E,, 552.49 feet) a distance of
554.82 feet, continuing along said right-of-way line to a point ln the aforemen-
tioned northerly line of land under tl!e jurisdiction of the Deparbnent of the
Interior; thence S. 65°07'31" W., a distance of 1,027.63 feet along said northerly
line to the point of bcginni ng.
The tract as described contains an area of 22.4::i ncres, more or less, and this
transfer of jurisdiction Is marle subject to the provision that the public roads
crossing the land are to remain open.
b, A certain right-of-way approximately 100 feet in width adjacent to the
.Arllngton National Cemetery on the easterly slde and more particularly described
as follows:
Deginning at P, B. and P. P. Monument No. 404.32, said monument marking the
point of intersection of the easterly line of said rlght-of-way with northerly line
or land under the jurisdiction of the Depnrtment of the Interior and being 220
feet mcnsurerl at right angles north of the north curb of Meruorlal Bridge Road
and runnln~ thence by true bearings:
S. G.:;•o,'31" W., a distance of 103.70 feet to a point in outer face of concrete
base to iron fence enclosing cemetery, thence N. 3°3:,'09" W., a distance of 382.73
feet along said out.er fnee of concrete bnse to a point at the soutl1 side of Sheridan
Gate: thence N. 2°52'39" W., a distance of l0ll.11 feet to a point In outer face
of stone wall enclosing cemetery, at the north side of the said Sheridan Gate;
thence N. 4°52'29" W., a distance of 1,021.84 feet along saicl outer face of stone
wall In part, to a point; thence N. 84°37'11" lll., a distance of 100.00 feet to a point;
thence S. 4°14'03" E., a distance of 1,477.82 feet along the westerly line of the
Fort Myer Horse Show Grounds to the point of beginning.
The tract as descri!Jed contains an at·en of 3.50 acres, more or less.
c. A certain right-of-way 185 feet in width adjacent to the Arlington National
Cemetery on the easterly side and more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the point of Intersection of the easterly line of said right-of-way
and the southerly line of land under the jurisdiction of the Department of the
Interior, said point being 280 feet measured at right angles south ot the south
curb of Memorial Bridge Road and running thence by true bearings:
S. 3°37'10" E., a distance of 3,021.18 feet to a point; thence S. 3°47'49" E., a

distance ot 1,883.99 feet to a point in the southerly line of the Fort Myer Mili-
tary Reservation; thence S. n°55'51'' W., a distllnce of 138.60 feet crossing
A.rlington R\dge Road to a point; thence N. 3°-l7'ac!)" W., a distance of 1,416.04
feet along outer face of stone wall enclosing cemetery: thence N. 3°87'19" W.,
a distance of 2,988.80 feet continuing along said outer face of stone wall to a
point; thence N. 65'07'81'' E., a distance of 144.85 feet along the aforementioned
southerly line of lanrt under the jurisdiction of the Department of the Interior
to a point of beginning.
The tract as described contains an area of 13.82 acres, more or less, and the
transfer of jurisdiction ls made subject to the provision that the public road
known as Washington Boulevard located at the southerly end of right-of-way as
described shall remain open.
2. The following-described tract of land, now 11 part of the Arlington National
Cemetery, Virginia, is hereby made a part of the Fort Myer Military Reservation,
Virginia, 11nd placed under the jurisdiction of the Commanding General, Military
District of Was!Jington :
A certain strip of land, known 11s Marshall Drive, beginning at a concrete monu-
ment In the northerly line of the Fort Myer Military Reservation and the Arling-
ton Nation11l Cemetery, clald monument being approximately 600 feet westerly
of the center llne of Arlington Ridge Road and running thence by true bearings:
N. 84'37'11" E., a distance of u46.84 feet along the said northerly line of
cemetery, to the northeast corner thereof, said corner being in the westerly rlgl1t-
of-way line of Arlington Ridge Road (right-of-way approxlmntely 100 feet wide];
thence S. 4°52'29" E., a distance of 57.58 feet along the said westerly right-of-way
line of Arlington Ridge Road to a point; thence S. 84°32'08" W., a distance of
701.73 feet along the most northerly face of a stone wall running through the
northerly part of said Arlington National Cemetery to an angle point in sa1d
wall ; thence N. 63°u7'21" E., a distance of 166.09 feet along the westerly llne of
cemetery, crossing Marshall Drive to the point of beginning.
The tract as described contains an area of 86,226 squ11re feet, or 0.832 acre,
more or less.
