2.  Policy.

a. A mandatory Department of the Army (DA) promotion selection board will consider eligible Judge Advocate Generals Corps (JAGC) Lieutenant Colonels (LTC) on the Reserve Active Status List (RASL) for promotion to Colonel (COL).
