2. Applicability. All Army Reserve TPU AMEDD officers are eligible for the basic branch transfer process; this MILPER provides information and guidance for USAR Troop-Program-Unit (TPU) AMEDD commissioned officers to branch transfer to a basic branch while remaining a USAR commissioned officer. This MILPER does not apply to non-TPU AMEDD officers or to TPU-AMEDD officers seeking reclassification or award of additional skill identifier (ASI) while continuing service as an AMEDD TPU commissioned officer.
