1. CHECK YOUR INBOX FOR AN IMPORTANT BASIC ALLOWANCE FOR HOUSING (BAH) SURVEY. From Army G-1 Compensation and Entitlements:  The Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Manpower and Reserve Affairs, Military Personnel Policy, contracted with CNA [www.cna.org] to administer a Basic Allowance for Housing (BAH) Adequacy Survey of servicemembers. About a fifth of all servicemembers will be randomly selected to participate and will receive an email including a Qualtrics link to the BAH Adequacy Survey. Please check your email inbox with your invitation. When taking the survey, please carefully read and respond to the first three screening questions. The survey takes about 20 minutes to complete. 5. REIMBURSEMENT OF MULTIPLE TRAVELERS RENTING A VEHICLE AND PURCHASING FUEL. From Army G-1 Compensation and Entitlements:  Effective 1 June 2025, the Joint Travel Regulations adds the authority to reimburse rental car fuel and oil expenses to additional travelers when properly listed on the Company rental documentation or rental agreement under the U.S. Government Rental Car Agreement #5, paragraph 16.  Additional drivers added to the documentation may be reimbursed for fuel charges. 7. ARMY COMMUNICATION CAMPAIGN TO PROMOTE MARROW DONATION AWARENESS, 1 MAY 25. From OTSG:  Army Medicine is coordinating with the Office of the Chief of Public Affairs (OCPA) to launch an Army-wide communication campaign to promote awareness of marrow donation, a lifesaving act that aligns with our values of selfless service and strengthens national readiness. Our Soldiers, with their health and commitment, are ideal candidates to register as marrow donors and to save lives. This campaign will spotlight the importance of marrow donation and encourage voluntary registration through partnerships with authorized Department of Defense affiliated organizations, such as Salute to Life. These organizations are legally authorized to conduct donor recruitment under 42 U.S.C. § 274k and Public Law 117-15. The Army does not operate or fund these entities.
