1. IPPS-A UPDATE, PARs, 9 FEB 23. From COL Rebecca Eggers, IPPS-A FMD: Some key points in this update follow.  See the entire update at the following link on S1NET.      a. RESTRICTION PARs.  Based on Customer Relationship Management (CRM) cases, we became aware late last week that restriction PARs were not updating Soldier records after the approval occurred. Upon further analysis, IPPS-A’s System Integrator (SI) discovered 2,700 restriction PARs have not successfully updated Soldier records. We have addressed the root cause of this issue and deployed a fix on 7 February 2023, that ensures all approved restriction PARs update Soldier records. We ask that HR Professionals confirm their restriction PAR actions and report any discrepancies found through the CRM platform.      b. PROMOTION PARs. We’ve also uncovered an issue with promotion PARs not producing orders and promotion job row updates on Soldier records after the approval occurred, affecting approximately 11 percent (883) of all promotion PARs approved since Go-Live. Moving forward, IPPS-A will send a distinct list of PARs that did not produce an order to the State that approved them and HRC Promotions Branch. We are asking that users first re-attempt to process the PAR; if the PAR continues to fail to produce an order or update job after approval, please submit a CRM case. 2. CALENDAR YEAR (CY) 2023 U.S. ARMY RESERVE (USAR) TROOP PROGRAM UNIT (TPU) NONCOMMISSIONED OFFICER (NCO) (TEMPORARY) PROMOTIONS, 9 FEB 23. Effective 1 January 2023, this memorandum provides USAR TPU NCO (temporary) promotions guidance for CY23. 3. USAR TPU ELECTIONS, PREFERENCES AND MILEAGE UPDATE IN IPPS-A (HOW-TO). This guide will assist USAR TPU NCOs in updating their promotion elections and preferences in IPPS-A. 4. USAR AMEDD SYMPOSIUM – 20 APRIL 2023 - HRC TALENT MANAGEMENT BRANCH. The HRC Reserve Personnel Management Directorate will present the next HRC Army Reserve Health Services Division AMEDD Symposium to the USAR AMEDD Population (AGR/TPU/IRR/IMA) on 20 April 2023 at 1800 EST via Microsoft Teams. The HRC Talent Management Team welcomes any topics you would like discussed. If you have a recommendation for a specific topic, please provide your feedback NLT 13 FEB 2023. 5. IPPS-A QUESTIONS. (Please assist if you can.)      a. AGCM ROSTER IN IPPS-A. Does the commander get a notification when the AGCM roster is generated by the HR pro letting the CDR know he needs to approve it. I currently have 4x AGCM pending my approval and would like to take care of my Soldiers. Any feedback is appreciated.      b. NOTIFICATIONS FROM IPPS-A. Does anyone know if there is a way to turn on notifications that you have a leave request or any other document waiting for you in IPPS-A?  Is it the intent that Supervisors log onto to IPPS-A daily to check for any requests?  It would be much easier for Supervisors if there was a notification option so that we could receive a notification stating we had a request waiting for us in IPPS-A.      c. AWARD ROSTER BY DEPARTMENT SORTING. Is there a way to effectively sort the Award Roster By Department (Award Eligibility Roster)? The only filters it has are date and status. There are thousands upon thousands of Department IDs and doesn't appear to be a logical way to find the 5 my commander needs to see. 6.  IPPS-A ITEMS.      a. IPPS-A "A DAY IN THE LIFE" WEBINAR SERIES - R3 MILPAY PROCESSING PART 2 - 15 FEB 2023. Attached is the CONOP for the IPPS-A "A Day in the Life" Webinar Series - R3 MilPay Processing Part 2.
