Calling all Army National Guard (ARNG) and U.S. Army Reserve (USAR) Soldiers! Are you looking to gain leadership experience to help advance your civilian career? Would you like a change of scenery and travel overseas? Or maybe you are looking to gain new skills or improve your existing skillset? Whatever your reason, Carrera can help you achieve your career goals. Every year, over 15,000 Active duty jobs are available for ARNG and USAR Soldiers to volunteer to fill. Reservists may choose to go on Active orders for many different reasons. Carrera, the new app developed by the Army Software Factory, US Army Futures Command, allows you to find those opportunities whenever and wherever you want. No more are the days when Soldiers have to go to an armory or take time out of drill and battle assembly to access Tour of Duty from a government computer.  With Carrera, you can view Army jobs from any device, whether on your laptop or cell phone. Access Carrera via your personal computer using your CAC and a CAC reader, or through your cell phone using an EAMS-A username and password.  Quickly browse and filter opportunities by rank, MOS code, and location. If the position interests you, save it and reach out to the hiring manager to inquire about the opportunity. Go from serving one weekend a month to ADOS orders with Carrera. Check it out today!"  Visit the following link on S1NET for more information and POCs, https://www.milsuite.mil/book/docs/DOC-1153505 or go directly to Carrera at https://carrera.swf.army.mil/  and start searching for your next adventure.

On 13 March 2022, the Army Talent Management Task Force, in coordination with the Task Force’s Strategic Communication Team, launched the Army Talent Attribute Framework (ATAF) webpage at https://talent.army.mil/ataf. In companionship with the activation of the ATAF webpage, the ATAF team published Leveraging Knowledge, Skills, and Behaviors for the Talent Marketplace article to the Army.mil portal, https://www.army.mil/article/256719. The ATAF webpage provides an interactive location for Soldiers to acquire information regarding the framework, talents, Knowledge, Skills and Behaviors (KSBs) to highlight their unique attributes in future marketplace cycles. The webpage will also be the landing site for proponent KSB storyboards to be located in order to inform NCOs, Warrant Officers, and Officers of projected career field skill sets and KSBs for each progressive grade plate. Read more at the following link. https://www.milsuite.mil/book/message/987315 2. DOES ARMY DIRECTIVE 2022-06, PARENTHOOD, PREGNANCY, AND POSTPARTUM, 19 APR 22 HAVE ANY EFFECT ON THE ARMY MILITARY PARENTAL LEAVE PROGRAM?  From the Leave and Pass Action Officer, HRC:  Due to questions from the field on AD 2022-06 concerning its effect on the Army Parental Leave Program, the following clarification is provided: https://www.milsuite.mil/book/docs/DOC-1139781      Q:  In reference to Army Directive 2022-06 (Parenthood, Pregnancy, and Postpartum), are there any updates to parental leave in regard to primary/secondary caregiver leave; or an effective date to implement this guidance; or a time frame to publish the guidance?      A:  The following answer has been provided by HQDA G-1:  Army Directive 2022-06 does not expand/change parental leave in regard to primary/secondary caregiver leave (see AR 600-8-10, para 5-5, "Army Military Parental Leave Program" for the current policy). The definition portion of the Army Directive alludes to future changes that may be coming as outlined in the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 22, but they are not yet effective. Until NDAA 22 becomes effective (in accordance with 10 USC 704a), and the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) has published their guidance (in accordance with 37 USC 1001), the current AR 600-8-10 policy remains the Army policy with regard to caregiver leave. The Army will publish clarifying guidance for the Army Directive soon. 3. ARMY TALENT MANAGEMENT TASK FORCE (ATMTF) SITREP, 17 MAY 22. This FRAGO serves as a centralized document that consolidates the guidance and activities related to movement and travel of service members, civilians, and contractors as published in previous Department of Defense and Army policies. It is imperative that leaders ensure command emphasis to enforce compliance with all requirements provided in this order. All prior orders related to travel that have not been rescinded remain in effect until rescinded or replaced. Some key information/guidance in this FRAGO: https://www.milsuite.mil/book/docs/DOC-1149554      a. (3.B.7.A.) S1NET Message Summary - 14 May 22

1. CALLING ALL BRIGADE S-1 SOPs UPDATED IN THE PAST YEAR. Over the years we have collected a very large library of SOPs and other samples (ceremonies, counselings, 4187’s, OPORDs, etc.) donated by members to benefit others, giving them a “starting point” in developing their own. As policies change over time, we want to update the member donated products library. If you pulled a product from S1NET and modified it to suit your unit, donate it back to S1NET for others to use.  If you have a product that you worked hard on and are proud of, donate it to S1NET for others to use. We are looking for products that are less than a year old. On a monthly basis we will put out a call for a specific category of SOP. This month, we are calling for Brigade S1 SOPs (all components), but will accept anything you wish to donate.  Go to the following link, donate your products, and help others. https://www.milsuite.mil/book/community/spaces/apf/s1net/sopsandreferences 2. From The Adjutant General Directorate: Human Resources Command, The Adjutant General Directorate, Field Services Division (FSD) leads the holistic transformation of the Army HR community through IPPS-A fielding, military pay migration, data management, and governance. FSD continues to support the Data Correctness Strategy in support of IPPS-A. This month, we highlight the top five organizations (with population over 8,500) and top three organizations (less than 3,000 population).  These G-1 and S1 Teams continue to demonstrate their commitment to data accuracy while taking care of Soldiers' records and the daily mission: US Army Recruiting Command, Eight Army, 7th Infantry Division, 1st Armored Division and US Army Alaska.  Also, excellent job to the top three commands: Human Resources Command (100% eMILPO accuracy), Cadet Command and First Army.  Congratulations to 4th Brigade Combat Team, 25th ID, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 1st AD and 89th Military Policy Brigade for achieving less than .27% eMILPO error rate (less than 9 errors). https://www.milsuite.mil/book/docs/DOC-1146891 7.
