1. HARDSHIP DUTY PAY–TEMPO (HDP-T), 13 APR 22. Effective the date of this memorandum, Assistant Secretary of the Army, Manpower and Reserve Affairs, SAMR, memorandum (Hardship Duty Pay-Tempo (HDP-T)), 12 November 2020 is rescinded; however, Soldiers who are currently operationally deployed remain eligible under the existing policy until the unit returns from the current deployment. If a Soldier assigned to the unit volunteers to extend his or her deployment, their eligibility for HDPT terminates when the main body departs the overseas location. Effective the date of this memorandum, only Soldiers who are involuntarily extended for at least 30 days, by the Secretary of Defense or the Secretary of the Army, beyond their normal tour of at least 270 days while assigned to an operational deployment listed in the Global Force Management Allocation Plan may qualify for HDP-T. 2. REGULAR ARMY NONCOMMISSIONED OFFICER MLC SCHEDULING (APRIL OML DATA). From HRC Military Schools Branch:  There is no SLC data for April 2022 due to the transition from FY21 OML to FY22. The end of May 2022 will be the first month for posting FY22 SSG Evaluation Board SLC Scheduling as they will be released on or about 20th May 2022. 3. THE IPPS-A PODCAST: NO NAPPING – TESTING & MANDATORY TRAINING. In this next episode of season 2, COL Rebecca Eggers chats with LTC Megan Meinholz and LTC Brian Hollandsworth, about the ongoing testing efforts and the importance of mandatory training for users (everyone above the self-service level). SOLDIER FOR LIFE COLLABORATES WITH THE ETS SPONSORSHIP PROGRAM. The Soldier for Life directorate is closely collaborating with the ETS Sponsorship Program, which is a national non-profit participating in a public-private-partnership with the US Department of Veterans Affairs, dedicated to ensuring the successful transition of service members out of the military and into civilian life. When signing up for Soldier for Life/ETS Sponsorship, Soldiers also have the opportunity to request a certified (1-on-1) volunteer sponsor who lives in their future civilian hometown. Read more at the following link. 5. WARRANT OFFICER CANDIDATE SCHOOL AND BASIC COURSE INSTRUCTORS NEEDED. From the CCWO, USAR: The USAR is seeking qualified Warrant Officers to become Warrant Officer Candidate School (WOCS) Tactical Officers (TAC) and Warrant Officer Basic Course (WOBC) instructors. Personnel can be AGR in a TDY status or TPU on orders. WOBC instructor MOS’s needed are: 170A, 255A, 255N, 255S, 350F, 350G, 351M, 352N, 351L, 353T, 150U, 140A, 881A, and 880A. MEMORANDUM OF INSTRUCTION (MOI) ON THE ARMY RESERVE COMPONENTS (COMPONENT 2 & COMPONENT 3) ARMY MEDICAL DEPARTMENT (AMEDD) BASIC OFFICER LEADERS COURSE (BOLC) AND CAPTAINS CAREER COURSE (CCC) EQUIVALENT OR CONSTRUCTIVE CREDIT REQUESTS AND THE AMEDD DIRECT COMMISSION COURSE EXCEPTION TO POLICY REQUESTS, 4 FEB 22. To provide guidance on requesting professional military education (PME) constructive credit and equivalent credit for AMEDD BOLC and CCC. AMEDD Officers required to attend PME, must attend AMEDD specific BOLC and a CCC in order to be considered PME complete. In lieu of attendance, qualifying officers may request exception to policy (ETP), equivalent or constructive credit from the approval authority.      b. TOC | CP | COMMAND POST VIRTUAL TRAINER (CPVT) COURSE. The CPVT course was made to assist those who work in a Tactical Operations Center, CP, or Main Command Post in refreshing or strengthening their skills. The course is centered around aviation however the learner does not have to be aviation branched to take the course. The CPVT course is also non-rank specific and can be used as refresher training for battle NCOs, battle CPTs, and junior enlisted.      c. This directive redefines and clarifies the roles and responsibilities for Army modernization. The provisions of this directive apply to the Regular Army, Army National Guard/Army National Guard of the United States, and U.S. Army Reserve. Army Directive (AD) 2018-15 and AD 2020-15 are hereby rescinded. Where this directive conflicts with any other Army policy or guidance, this directive is controlling.      b.
