S1NET Message Summary - 21 Jan 22

1. CHANGING YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS ON MILSUITE.  We continue to receive requests to change members email from mail.mil to army.mil.       a. We cannot change the email in your profile. The email in your milSuite profile is the one that is registered to your CAC in DMDC (when you were issued your CAC).  It appears the DMDC self-help function to change the email on your CAC has been fixed, and some are having success in using it. To change the email on your CAC and update your milSuite profile with your new @army.mil email address, take the steps at the following link. https://www.milsuite.mil/book/community/milsuite/blog/2021/12/08/your-milsuite-profile-and-the-transition-from-mailmil-to-armymil-redux. You may have to try a number of times to get this to work, and you HAVE TO use Internet Explorer.  It won’t work with Edge or Chrome.            b. If you can’t get the self-service function to work, the only way we know of to get your email changed is visit your ID card section and they can change it.       c. If you would like some assurance that you will continue to receive the S1NET messages, all of them on S1NET at https://www.milsuite.mil/book/community/spaces/apf/s1net/alaracts-messages/s1netmessagesummaries .  You can save this as a favorite, and can check anytime to see if you missed any messages.  2. COMPANY LEADERSHIP BEST ADMIN/HR PRACTICES. “Good afternoon Team, I am trying to put together a list of "best practices" for Company level leadership that effect admin and HR topics.  It’s for Army Reserve units, but most good practices apply to all COMPOs.  If you have a list, smart card, or just have a few good ideas, it would help me tremendously if you shared them.” https://www.milsuite.mil/book/thread/263130      b. UPDATED ADDITIONAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR RLAS. “Does anyone have the most up to date "additional instructions list" from the RLAS RFO module.  I am putting some quick help docs for the SSG in Training and resources and want to make sure all the data is up to date when I PCS.” https://www.milsuite.mil/book/message/973408      c. EVALUATION SPECTRUM REFERENCE. “I've seen a reference that lays out OER/NCOER narratives on a spectrum from 1 to 10 (worst to best). It included block check and comment examples for rater and senior rater. My former senior rater used it during our counseling and pinpointed the strength of my eval on the spectrum which was very helpful. Does anyone know where I can find this reference? Thank you.” https://www.milsuite.mil/book/message/973258 7. FORSCOM WIAS POSITIONS (UPDATED A/O 11 JAN 22).
