1. FORCE HEALTH PROTECTION GUIDANCE (SUPPLEMENT 15) REVISION 3 - DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE GUIDANCE FOR CORONAVIRUS DISEASE 2019 LABORATORY TESTING SERVICES, 30 DEC 21. This memorandum updates previous DoD coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-I9) laboratory testing guidance and rescinds and replaces Force Health Protection Guidance (Supplement 15) Revision 2. This force health protection (FHP) supplement provides guidance on COVID-19 testing for eligible persons suspected of having contracted COVID-19, and applies Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) testing guidance in the DoD context. 6. ARMY RESERVE PAY MESSAGES.

     a. ARMY RESERVE PAY MESSAGE 22-01, DEFERRED OASDI TAX COLLECTIONS UPDATE. A Presidential Memorandum was issued on 8 August 2020 in order to provide relief during the COVID-19 pandemic, to temporarily defer military members’ 6.2% Social Security (Old Age, Survivors, and Disability Insurance) or OASDI tax withholdings from September thru December 2020, if your monthly basic pay rate was less than $8,666.66.  Collections for the deferred tax withholdings were made between 1 January 2021 and 31 December 2021 at the rate of 2% of disposable pay.  Due to the irregular and intermittent nature of duty, about half of the Reserve Soldiers have a remaining balance; therefore, the collection rate will increase to 10% of disposable pay from each payment received during 2022 until the deferred tax balance is paid in full. https://www.milsuite.mil/book/docs/DOC-1093162
