2. ASSIGNMENT INTERACTIVE MODULE 2 (AIM2) ATAP 22-01 MISSION ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS (MER) TRAINING. HRC OPMD will conduct training for Active Component (AC) Unit Strength Managers on the AIM2 Mission Essential Requirements (MER) list on 9 – 11 February 2021 using Microsoft Teams. The purpose is to provide training on AIM2 for the upcoming ATAP 22-01 Cycle and highlight recent changes to the system. 3. HRC OPMD ARMY TALENT ALIGNMENT PROCESS (ATAP) 22-01 PRE-MER MESSAGE. Account Managers will send the ATAP 22-01 Mission Essential Requirements (MER) letters and Assignment Interactive Module 2.0 (AIM2) information on 3 FEB 2021. The MER will open in AIM2 on 4 0900 EST FEB 2021 to establish unit requirements for Officer assignments from 01 October 2021 to 31 March 2022. The MER is the unit’s tool to systematically convey priorities to Officer Personnel Management Directorate (OPMD) for the cycle. 4. ENLISTED MANNING CYCLE 22-01 MARKET. From HRC EPMD: The ASKEM market opens at 0700 EST on Wednesday, 3 February 2021 and closes at midnight on 16 March 2021 for NCOs with YMAVs (Year/Month Available to Move) between 2110 and 2202 and assignment report dates between October 2021 - February 2022. NCOs identified to move will receive an automated email at 0700 on 03 February granting them access to the ASK-EM web-based market. 5. MILITARY PAY (MILPAY) TRANSITION COURSE – DISTRIBUTED LEARNING (dL). From the AG School:  The updated Military Pay (MilPay) Transition Course – Distributed Learning (dL) is available for self-enrollment on the Soldier Support Institute (SSI) Blackboard. This course intends to provide HR professionals in BN/BDE S-1 and Military Personnel Divisions (MPD) with access to a quality training product that will improve their preparedness to assume MilPay responsibilities in 2025.      b. MY CASES TILE – VIEW CASES ASSIGNED TO OTHER MEMBERS - JOB-AID.      c. ADD RANK TO EMAIL TEMPLATES AND CHANGE MEMBER NAMES TO MIXED CASES - JOB-AID. Initial Problem: When the Case Managers uses an Email Template to contact the member from a CRM Case, the template does not include Member’s Rank and the Member’s name is displayed in all Upper case format.      a. ALARACT 005/2021, UPDATED GUIDANCE FOR THE MANDATORY MONTHLY CERTIFICATION OF THE UNIT COMMANDER’S FINANCE REPORT AND THE UNIT COMMANDER’S PAY MANAGEMENT REPORT (FOUO), DTG: R 021245Z FEB 21. The purpose of this message is to provide updated instructions for the monthly certification of the Unit Commander’s Finance Report (UCFR) and Unit Commander’s Pay Management Report (UCPMR) by all unit commanders as required in accordance with references a, c, and f, this message.      b. ALARACT 006/2021, ARMY FILING INSTRUCTIONS FOR SPOUSE STATE RELICENSURE AND RECERTIFICATION COSTS REIMBURSEMENT (FOUO), DTG: R 021300Z FEB 21. This message replaces ALARACT 010/2020, which is now inactive.  No new changes were incorporated.  S-1/G-1, please review and comply with filing and processing guidance as established in the ALARACT.  Incomplete packets submitted to your local Servicing Finance Office will delay processing and reimbursement. The policy found in Army Directive 2020-01 remains in effect retroactive to the date of the National Defense Authorization Act for FY 2018 (12 December 2017).      c. ALARACT 007/2021, SGM LARRY L. STRICKLAND EDUCATIONAL LEADERSHIP AWARD FOR CALENDAR YEAR 2021 (CY21) (FOUO), DTG: R 031755Z FEB 21. The Larry L. Strickland Educational Leadership Award (SELA) is a nonfederal award of the Association of the United States Army (AUSA). This award honors the memory of Sergeant Major (SGM) Larry L. Strickland (Deputy Chief of Staff for Army Personnel Sergeants Major). A victim of the September 11th terrorist attack on the Pentagon, he represents all Soldiers and civilians lost in the Global War on Terrorism.      d. ALARACT 008/2021, HARDSHIP DUTY PAY – TEMPO (FOUO), DTG: R 031800Z FEB 21. HDP – T is used to compensate Soldiers, both active component and reserve component, for extended operational deployments. Soldiers who are deployed beyond 270 consecutive days on an operational deployment listed in the Global Force Management Allocation Plan are eligible for HDP – T on the 271st day of consecutive deployment, provided the Soldiers are deployed at least 300 consecutive days.
