CHANGE TO THE FREQUENCY OF SOLDIER PAY. From USAFMCOM:  The new AR 637-1, Army Compensation and Entitlements Policy, mandates a change to the frequency of Soldier Pay. Effective 1 October 2022, all Soldiers will be paid twice per month. Soldiers being paid once per month will continue to be paid once per month until the pay period ending 30 September 2022; effective 1 October 2022 all Soldiers who have not changed their election to twice per month will be automatically switched to twice per month.  End of Month only will no longer be an option.  https://www.milsuite.mil/book/docs/DOC-1168801 3. THE GRATEFUL NATION AWARD/JINSA. From HRC Awards and Decorations Branch: The Grateful Nation Award was established to honor an outstanding representative (Soldier, Airmen, Sailor, Marine, and Coast Guardsman) from each service and the USSOCOM. JINSA recommends that the honoree should come from the junior ranks - Officer 04 and below, or Enlisted E8 and below. Nominees should have distinguished himself or herself by exceptional service in direct combat duty that contributes to our national security. From the USARC G-1: HQDA has approved a force design update (FDU) that revises how the U.S. Army resources field feeding capability. The USAR Commanding General has directed and implemented Field Feeding (FF) OPORD 20-057 to facilitate implementation in the USAR. OPORD 20-057 directly impacts nearly every TPU 92G Soldier in our formations. IAW OPORD 20-057 & FRAGO 002, TPU 92G Soldiers will be transferred to the appropriate FF company or team detachment necessary to fill eight FF companies comprised of 213 authorizations (primarily TPU 92G positions) and 80 FF team detachments comprised of 15 TPU 92G authorizations. This OPORD has directed the increase of TPU 92G authorizations by over 400 positions (FY21-FY23) creating promotion opportunities and leadership positions, such as Company First Sergeant, Platoon Sergeant, and Operations Sergeant.
