1. FY24 USAR TPU SSG EVAL BOARD IPPS-A UPDATE (PREFERENCE ELECTIONS ARE AVAILABLE). From the USARC G-1: The board roster has been created in IPPS-A as of 26 April 2024. You can go in and update your mileage and other preferences. Please ensure you do so prior to the May slate (NLT 7 May 24) for aspiring SFC. Also, it is very important to speak to your HR Professionals to ensure there are no remarks on the board roster (i.e. Failed Civilian Education Code, CPMOS/PMOS error, etc.) that make you show as ineligible and therefore not populating on the Promotion Assignment Matching (PAM) dashboard. There are resolution guides and slides attached to correct any issues that are annotated as well.

a. AG SCHOOL HOSTS THE LTG TIMOTHY J. MAUDE LEADERSHIP LECTURE, TUESDAY, 30 APR 24, 2 PM EDT. This lecture series was established to provide an on-going forum for reflections on leadership by prominent senior leaders of the Army in memory of LTG Maude who was the Army G1, and the senior ranking officer killed, during the attack on the Pentagon on 9/11/2001. LTG Maria Barrett, the ARCYBER CG, is our guest speaker. a. ALARACT 022/2024, ENTRY-LEVEL STATUS, DTG: R 221820Z APR 24. Purpose: This message replaces ALARACT 036/2023 and announces an exception to Army policy that defines when enlisted Soldiers are in an entry-level status pursuant to AR 635-200. The FY 24 USAR APDE Selection Panel will select eligible Officers, Warrant Officers, and Senior Enlisted Noncommissioned Officers for APDE courses beginning in December 2024.

This message announces the release of the results for subject promotion selection board (PSB). The Prepositioning Release of this board results will be between 0900-1300 EDT, 2 May 24. The official promotion list will be released at 0730 EDT, 7 May 24.
c. MILPER MESSAGE 24-156, CHANGE TO UNIT AWARDS PERMANENT ORDER DISTRIBUTION, ISSUED: [29 APR 2024]. Currently, once a unit award is approved the Awards and Decorations Branch (ADB) will issue a memorandum authorizing individual Soldiers to wear the unit award. However, this document is only temporary and not allowed for upload into the Soldier’s records. d. MILPER MESSAGE 24-157, AMENDMENT TO APPROVAL AUTHORITY TO AWARD MSM, ARCOM AND AAM TO FOREIGN MILITARY PERSONNEL, ISSUED: [29 APR 2024]. This message announces a change to the authority to award the MSM, ARCOM, and AAM to foreign military personnel assigned or attached to Army commands in the rank comparable to COL (O-6) and below. Currently, AR 600-8-22, dated 19 January 2024, Table 1-2 Note 3* reads " This includes Army unit commanders in the ranks of lieutenant general (LTG) and above." The rapid revision to AR 600-8-22, currently in staffing, changes Note 3 to read: "Effective 1 September 2022, the ASA (M&RA) authorized General Officers in Command positions to include HQDA Principal Officials permanent awards approval authority to award the MSM, ARCOM, and AAM to foreign military personnel assigned or attached to the command in the rank comparable to COL (O-6) and below."
