     a. FORCE HEALTH PROTECTION GUIDANCE (SUPPLEMENT 15) REVISION 1 - DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE GUIDANCE FOR CORONAVIRUS DISEASE 2019 LABORATORY TESTING SERVICES, 15 MAR 21. This memorandum updates previous DoD coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) laboratory testing guidance and rescinds and replaces "Force Health Protection Guidance (Supplement 15)" January 11, 2021. This force health protection (FHP) supplement provides guidance on COVID-19 testing for eligible persons suspected of having contracted COVID-19, and applies Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) testing guidance in the DoD context. This memorandum rescinds "Force Health Protection Guidance (Supplement 9), May 26, 2020, and provides updated force health protection (FHP) deployment and redeployment guidance for Service members (including Reserve Component (RC) and National Guard (NG) members in a title 10 or title 32 duty status) and DoD civilian employees deploying within and outside the United States during the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic. This memorandum further supplements requirements regarding the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic in accordance with reference (a), this memorandum, and rescinds "Force Health Protection Guidance (Supplement 8)" April 13, 2020. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is continuously updating science-based guidance to slow the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic, including guidance to prevent transmission of the disease in workplaces. 2. APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE FY21 RESERVE COMPONENT (RC), ARMY RESERVE, NON-ACTIVE GUARD RESERVE, PROMOTION VACANCY BOARD (PVB) FOR TROOP PROGRAM UNIT (TPU) POSITIONS, 1 MAR 21. The United States Army Reserve (USAR) PVB program is designed to promote officers to fill vacancies in Troop Program Units (TPU) that cannot be filled with qualified officers of the authorized grade already assigned to the unit, assigned to other nearby units, or assigned to the Individual Ready Reserve (IRR).
