1. SPECIAL LEAVE ACCRUAL (SLA) IN CONNECTION WITH COVID-19.  From Army G-1 Compensation and Entitlements: Leave earned from 1 October 2020 thru 30 September 2021 (FY21), is NOT protected by Special Leave Accrual (SLA) and will be lost if not used or before 30 September 2021. [SLA continues to be authorized to Soldiers serving in qualifying Hostile Fire Pay and Imminent Danger Pay locations per AR 600-8-10 and DoD 7000.14–R] Leave accountability is based on a Last-In-First-Out (LIFO) system. 2. IDENTIFICATION BADGE PLACEMENT ON THE ACU. From Army G-1 Uniform Policy: Due to numerous questions from the field, the slide at the following link is provided to clarify policy on the placement and wear of same side badges on the ACU.  Bottom line, if you are wearing two same side badges on the ACU, the badge with higher precedence remains on the side prescribed in DA PAM 670-1, para 22-17 e., the lower precedence badge will move to the opposite side. https://www.milsuite.mil/book/docs/DOC-950052

3. DELAY IN LAUNCH OF ARMYIGNITED. Due to the delay in the launch of ArmyIgnitED, ACCESS will provide a blanket Exception to Policy (ETP) to qualified Soldiers for TA for courses that start 8 Mar 2021 through 22 Mar 2021.  At the following link are guidelines to process ETP for Soldier enrollments affected by the delay. This ALARACT applies to Regular Army (RA), United States Army Reserve (Active Guard Reserve) Soldiers, and Soldiers on active duty. "AR 600-20 was updated as in July 2020 and all the forms associated with the FCP were updated as well.  Many Soldiers become overwhelmed when they see how many documents are required for a Family Care Plan.  This packet includes instructions on how to complete each document in laymen's terms.  It also provides clarification on necessity for some documents that Soldiers do not initially think should be important."
