S1NET Message Summary - 14 Sep 21

1. TECHNICAL ISSUES WITH ENLISTED PROMOTIONS MONTHLY REQUIREMENTS/CUTOFF SCORES. From HRC Enlisted Promotions:  Currently HRC is experiencing some technical system issues affecting the Enlisted Promotions monthly requirements/cutoff scores. This will affect the posting of the 1 October 2021 monthly by name & cutoff scores to the HRC Website on the 15th of the month.  We expect the technical issue to be resolved NLT 21 September 2021.  Soldiers who are selected for October 2021 and meet all the eligibility requirements pay and DOR will not be affected.

2. ATAP 22-02 CHANGE PHASE 1-2, 10 SEP 2021. From HRC: Immaterial requisitions will be allocated per branch during the Distribution Conference 07-14 September 2021. Unlike previous AIM2 Talent Marketplaces, there will NOT be two marketplace sessions. The marketplace will open for unit and officer numerical preferencing for the duration of the 22-02 market: 23 September - 03 November 2021. Visit the following link for more information.

3. REMINDER: AGS HR CREDENTIALING PROGRAM FALL 2021 - OPEN (15 AUG - 1 OCT 21). From the AG Proponent: The Adjutant General School (AGS) is pleased to announce open enrollment for the AG School Credentialing Program, fall 2021 iteration. Qualified CMF 42 Soldiers, from all components, may apply for this opportunity to participate in the credentialing program. The program is being expanded to include a wider range of credentials that can positively affect AG Soldiers during their lifecycle. Deadline to apply is 1 October 2021.


     a. REGULAR ARMY NONCOMMISSIONED OFFICER SLC-MLC SCHEDULING (OML DATA) AS OF OCTOBER 2021. From HRC Military Schools Branch: To provide transparency and manage expectations, Military Schools Branch releases monthly statistics of Soldiers scheduled for SLC by Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) and the Order of Merit List (OML). These numbers reflect the last OML number that has been used to schedule a Soldier in October 2021 by MOS.

     b. 4TH QTR FY 21 REGULAR ARMY NONCOMMISSIONED OFFICER ALC SCHEDULING (PROMOTION POINTS DATA). To provide transparency and manage expectations, Military Schools Branch releases quarterly statistics of Soldiers scheduled for ALC by Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) and promotion points. These numbers reflect the average promotion points required to be scheduled by MOS by month.

5. IPPS-A WEBINAR SERIES: ASSIGNMENT OVERVIEW – 15 SEP 2021. Attached at the following link is the CONOP for the IPPS-A Assignment Overview webinar. During this session, the IPPS-A Team will introduce IPPS-A Release 3 assignment capabilities with a focus on unit no cost move assignment actions. Planned demonstrations include using the unit slotting tool and the ACT dashboard.


     a. ASSOCIATION OF MILITARY SURGEONS OF THE UNITED STATES (AMSUS) ANNUAL MEETING LECTURE AND PRESENTATION SUBMISSIONS. AMSUS Annual Meeting will be 7-10 February 2022 (In-Person) and 22-28 February 2022 (Virtual). All military and civilian healthcare professionals are invited to submit abstracts, lecture and posters to be presented at the conference (in-person or virtually) thru the new extended deadline of 3 October 2021.

     b. DEFENSE CONTRACT MANAGEMENT AGENCY (DCMA) 22-01 MOVERS VIRTUAL TOWN HALL (51A / 51C), 28 SEPTEMBER 2021.  Come join the DCMA family and serve as part of the critical eyes and ears of DoD and its partners.  On 28 September 2021 at 1500 (EST), DCMA will host a virtual town hall meeting in order to inform acquisition officers who are in the 22-02 AIM assignment cycle. We have opportunities throughout the United States.

     c. U.S. ARMY NORTH (FORT SAM HOUSTON, TX) 22-02 AIM2 MARKETPLACE. U.S. Army North (Fifth Army) conducts unified land operations in support of U.S. Northern Command in order to detect, deter and defeat threats to the homeland, support civil authorities, and cooperate with Canadian and Mexican militaries to defend America and its interests. Seeking qualified officers and warrant officers in the following ranks: COL, LTC, MAJ, CPT, CW3, CW2, in the following branches: AG, CH, CM, CY, FA30, FA46, FA48, FA50, FA59, FC, MI, MP, MS, OD, QM, SC.

     d. 157TH INFANTRY BRIGADE (CAMP ATTERBURY, INDIANA) TOWN HALL FOR 22-02 MOVERS. The Brigade Commander for the 157th Infantry Brigade will host a Town Hall via MS Teams for all 22-02 movers at 1400 EST on 30 Sep 21. The 157th IN BDE coaches, teaches, and trains partnered Reserve Component (RC) formations within the Midwest region to enable them to meet HQDA training readiness objectives and Combatant Commander requirements. Positions range from 01A, 02A, 11A, 13A, 14A, 19A, 255A, 31A, 35D, 56A, 74A, 70H, 90A, 915A, and 920A.

     e. 188TH INFANTRY BRIGADE INFORMATIONAL BRIEF FOR ATAP 22-02 TALENT MARKETPLACE. The 188th Infantry Brigade, Ft. Stewart, Ga is recruiting officers for the ATAP 22-02 Talent Marketplace. Opportunities to serve in broadening and KD positions for 11, 12, 13, 19, 25, 35, 57, 74 and 90 series personnel available. If you are interested in joining a highly decorated unit in a wonderful location close to beaches, Disney World and Savannah, GA, please attend one of two scheduled Town Halls on Sep. 15 or 24 Sep on MS Teams.

     d. MILITARY PAY E-MESSAGE 21-035, Family Separation Allowance (FSA) for Dual Military Couples. The purpose of this message is to inform all regarding FSA entitlement for Soldiers married to another Soldier and the Married Army Couples Program (MACP). This message supersedes Military Pay E-message 19-027.

     e. MILITARY PAY E-MESSAGE 21-036, Family Separation Allowance (FSA) as it pertains to all Soldiers in, and after, Initial Military Training (IMT). The purpose of this message is to inform all regarding FSA entitlement to Soldiers in Initial Military Training. This message supersedes Military Pay E-message 19-026.

     f. MILITARY PAY E-MESSAGE 21-037, Family Separation Allowance (FSA) in Joint Custody Cases. The purpose of this message is to inform all regarding payment of FSA to Soldiers who have court ordered joint custody of a minor dependent and/or pay child support as well as proper use of the Basic Allowance for Housing dependent codes “N” and “C” in such cases.

9. FORSCOM WIAS POSITIONS (UPDATED A/O 3 Sep 21). Hot openings listed at the following link.   

     a. One position for Joint Personnel Recovery Center Deputy Director in support of CENTCOM AOR to include OIF, OEF, and CJTF-HOA.  Acts as the subject matter expert (SME) on tactics, language, and culture relating to PR operations.  Must be O3/O4 with TS/SCI clearance. Location: Qatar. 

     b. Three Ammunition Specialist/ Inspector (89B) positions in the grade of E5-E7 (SGT-SFC).  SM will receive, store and issue conventional ammunition and other ammunition related items; performs maintenance (unit, direct support and general support) modification, destruction and demilitarization on ammunition and explosive components; and operates computer hardware and software/utilities manual records to perform stock control and accounting procedures. SECRET clearance Req. Locations: Honduras and Germany. 

     c. Two positions for Ops Officers, 11A and O2A. O4.  Lead the development of crisis action, intermediate and long range plans. Interact with all elements of the TF (maneuver, fires, intelligence, logistics) and able to take their inputs to develop future concepts of operations and supporting orders.  TS/SCI clearance. Location: Ft. Bragg. 

     d. Food Service Technician in support of OEFF-SS, FS and OIR. Interested service members must be in the MOS of 922A/ W2-W4 or 92G/ E8-E9 with a SECRET Clearance. Duties include coordinating, supervising food service programs for the installation, managing personnel, enlisted and civilian, and developing Management plans for equipment and expendable supplies. Location: Amman, Jordan.
