1. TRANSITION ASSISTANCE FOR INVOLUNTARY SEPARATIONS. From Army Transition Assistance Program (TAP), U.S. Army Human Resources Command (HRC): All Soldiers transitioning from active duty are entitled to and required to complete Career Readiness Standards provided by the Transition Assistance Program (TAP). Soldiers pending involuntary separation, to include vaccine refusal, need to visit their local TAP center as soon as possible. Soldiers who are unable to complete all requirements prior to their separation date have an additional 180 days post transition to utilize TAP services. Soldiers located more than 50 miles from a TAP center can utilize the TAP Virtual Center, 1-800-325-4715.
