1. ARMY DIRECTIVE 2022-05, ARMY COMBAT FITNESS TEST, 23 MAR 22. This directive establishes the effective dates for full implementation of the new Army Combat Fitness Test (ACFT) and provides changes to Army policies affected by the ACFT. Starting 1 April 2022, the ACFT will begin to be implemented as the Army’s official record physical fitness test for personnel actions. Where this policy conflicts with any other previously published procedural guidance, this directive is controlling. ACFT policies for pregnant and postpartum Soldiers will be published separately. 2. REMINDER:  NEW REQUIREMENT TO ATTEND BASIC LEADER COURSE (BLC) EFFECTIVE 1 JUN 22 (RA AND USAR AGR), 1 OCT 22 FOR USAR (LESS AGR).  This is a reminder for S-1s and leaders of new BLC attendance requirements as follows:      a. Per Army Directive 2021-17 (Lateral Appointment to Corporal and Eligibility for Basic Leaders Course), effective 1 June 2022 for RA and USAR AGR Soldiers and 1 October 2022 for USAR (less AGR) Soldiers, eligibility to attend the BLC requires that an SPC be first recommended for promotion to the rank of SGT.      b. In support of the Army Directive, ALARACT 050/2021 requires Promotion Authorities to update the Army Training Resources and Requirements System (ATRRS) to reflect all SPC(P) as “eligible” for BLC attendance, and specifies the procedures for units to update ATRRS. SFC TPU SLOTTING REPORTS - MARCH 2022. Attached at the following link are the March E7 slotting reports for a promotion effective date of 01 April 2022. 5. ALARACT 020/2022, THE ARMY FOOD PROGRAM OBSERVES NATIONAL NUTRITION MONTH, 1-31 MARCH ANNUALLY (CUI), DTG: R 221915Z MAR 22. Army Commands, Army Service Component Commands, and Direct Reporting Units (ACOMs, ASCCs, and DRUs) are encouraged to observe National Nutrition Month, 1-31 March annually. Intent/endstate is to encourage participation with nutritional education through healthy Army Community programs (dining facilities, morale and welfare recreation, defense commissary agency) and Army wellness centers.      b. ALARACT 021/2022, LINE OF DUTY REQUIREMENTS AND INTEGRATED DISABILITY EVALUATION SYSTEM REFERRAL MEMORANDUM (CUI), DTG: R 231551Z MAR 22. The purpose of this message is to provide clarification on the need for a line of duty (LOD) determination for Reserve Component (RC) Soldiers and to clarify Integrated Disability Evaluation System referral memorandum (IDRM) use. 6.
