1. TAG SENDS: PROMOTIONS
UPDATE DURING BOCO. From BG Gregory S. Johnson, The Adjutant General of
the Army: Teammates, IPPS-A Release 3 Go-Live date is 20 December with a
phased approach to user access. On 20 December, HR professionals,
including all subcategories, will have access to IPPS-A. All other
users will have access in January 2023, date to be published. Continue
to complete required training and complete priorities of work in

2. eMILPO MESSAGE 22-42, 2 DEC 22, SUBJ: REGULAR ARMY SRB’S HAVE BEEN
UPLOADED TO iPERMS. The generation of all Regular Army SRBs and
uploading to iPERMS has been completed. *NOTE: Units, please DO NOT pull
mass SRB batches. The eMILPO and Datastore will remain available in a
read-only status (Reports, SRB's, View Only-View Soldier Information)
until seven days post IPPS-A Go-Live. The access level for all users has
modified to 'User level' with the hierarchy you are currently assigned

3. LINE OF DUTY AND FATAL INCIDENT BRIEF. From CMAOD: The Line of Duty
and Fatal Incident Brief Smart Cards attached at the following link
serve as quick reference to two critical parts of the Army’s casualty
program. Both provide quick references to the applicable Army
Regulations (AR) and Army Directive, and we hope you share these across
your formations and with your command teams for use. HRC continues to
receive Line of Duty (LOD) investigations in excess of 180 days since
the date of incident. Army Directive 2022-04 directs that all formal LOD
investigations must be completed within 180 days from the date of
incident. Units are required to provide updates every 30 days to their
Casualty Assistance Center (CAC) and ACOM/ASCC. Adherence to this
timeline is important, as delays in receiving LOD determinations
directly impact Soldier readiness for non-fatal incidents and the
Families of our fallen Soldiers for fatal incidents that require an
