1. AC ENLISTED PROMOTION'S TOWNHALL, 15 MAR 23. The Adjutant General Directorate (HRC) is inviting all to join us on Teams for a Promotions Townhall on 15 Mar at 1300 ET so you may have your questions on AC Enlisted Promotions answered! 2. ADJUTANT GENERAL SENIOR ENLISTED LEADER WORKSHOP, 17-21 APRIL 23. On behalf of SGM Christopher "Smoke" Stevens, Installation Management Command will host the Adjutant General Senior Enlisted Leader Workshop, 17-21 April 23, Joint Base San Antonio - Sam Houston, TX.  This year's theme is “Putting the SERGEANT Back in Sergeant Major” and will serve as a developmental engagement platform for AG SGMs to address current challenges, further refine strategies and best practices, and formulate solid solutions. Due to space limitations, in-person attendance will be validated thru the ACOM/ASCC/DRU G1 SGMs. 3. HRC's CRM CASE TRACKER FOR ARMY-WIDE PAI (MILPER 23-057). From the HRC IPPS-A Team: Units should make every effort to correct discrepancies in strength and accountability reporting within IPPS-A while conducting the PAI. If units are unable to resolve a discrepancy in IPPS-A, they will submit a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Ticket to the Army Service Center(ASC) Provider Group, "IPPS-A Service Center" requesting assistance to resolve the issue. After submitting the CRM, report the case number(s) utilizing the HRC PAI CRM Tracker attached at the following link. Visit the following link for more information. 4. 2023 U.S. ARMY RETIREMENT PLANNING GUIDE. From Army Retirement Services:  The 2023 Retirement Planning Guide is live on the Soldier for Life website, and at the following link on S1NET. The guide has undergone extensive revisions since 2022 and is designed to be more digitally accessible, including an interactive Table of Contents and clickable Retirement Planning Timeline. 5. (ARNG) PPOM 23-017, ACFT GUIDANCE FOR EVALUATIONS, 9 MAR 23. The purpose of this guidance is to update, and inform, leaders and rating officials of evaluation reports entry requirements for a record ACFT, effective 1 October 2022, for evaluation reports with an annotated “Thru Date” of 1 October 2022 and later impacting our T10 and T32 AGR/ADOS force. This update also includes the evaluation report entry requirements for our Traditional Soldiers effective 1 April 2023. 6. (USAR) IPPS-A, IMPORTANT MESSAGE FOR US ARMY RESERVE UNITS WHO HAVE A DECEASED SOLDIER, DO NOT MOVE THE DECEASED SOLDIERS IN IPPS-A. From the USARC G-1:  Reserve Units will continue to process a CCIR for the death of a Servicemember up the chain to USARC/FORSCOM watch. Please do not attempt to move these Soldiers to pending loss or process them as deceased. The USARC G-1 Casualty Operations Branch are the only authorized personnel to conduct these actions in IPPS-A for a deceased Servicemember.  Please contact the USARC G-1 Casualty Operations team (usarmy.usarc.usarc-hq.mbx.casualty-army- for any questions. 7. (USAR) IPPS-A, IMPORTANT MESSAGE FOR US ARMY RESERVE UNITS WHO HAVE PERSONNEL THAT CANNOT BE ACTIONED WITHIN IPPS-A. From the USARC G-1: The Army Reserve has a growing number of "inactive" UICs that have personnel assigned erroneously. To fix this error create a CRM Ticket and route to (ARAH_USARC_G1) for personnel misaligned within the Command structure.  Please add supporting documentation and notes specifically addressing the errors (C2 Pool, POIs, and SM built within). 8. IPPS-A QUESTIONS. (Please assist if you can.)      a. TOUR ASSIGNMENTS. “How can I add Tour - Deployment Assignments on IPPS-A?”      b. REMOVE RESERVIST FROM AAA 162 IN IPPSA. How do you remove reservist from the AAA 162 in IPPSA? 9.  IPPS-A ITEMS.      a. EIGHTH ARMY G1: IPPS-A ORGANIZATIONAL LIBRARY (PAR/ABSENCE TEMPLATES). This tool, developed and contributed by CW4 Philip C. Diwa and WO1 Samantha Bonds, is recommended by the IPPS-A Team. “Attached at the following link is a tool (Guide to IPPS-A Organizational Library and examples of PAR and Absence Templates) we are using to assist Unit S1s/G1s and MPD to standardized Personnel Action Request Templates, as well as Absence Request Templates.  The tool is a way to message the template formats to Soldiers and Commands.  In addition, the tool also has Personnel Asset Inventory (PAI) features to assist with the upcoming and future unit PAIs.  The end-users can manipulate (e.g., add, edit, or delete) template data to best follow organizational guidance.” 10. The purpose of this message is to inform all personnel who reside on-post and receive personal mail or receive mail through the Official Mail Center, Military Post Office, or a Unit Mail Room of changes to their personal and/or official mailing addresses due to the Army’s implementation of the Commission on the Naming of Items of the Department of Defense that Commemorate the Confederate States of America or Any Person Who Served Voluntarily With the Confederate States of America (“the Naming Commission”).  This message also provides a projected way-ahead concerning actions that personnel should take to mitigate any potential for mail disruption.      b. MILPER MESSAGE 23-088, REVOCATION AND DISPOSITION OF STREAMERS FOR CONFEDERATE SERVICE, AND DISPOSITION OF FLAGS AND GUIDONS RENDERED OBSOLETE BY NAMING COMMISSION IMPLEMENTATION, ISSUED: [3/13/2023 5:22:24 PM]. This message provides instruction on the revocation of non-us Army battle streamers, disposition of obsolete DA Form 7775 (Lineage Certificate), and turn-in guidance for streamers, flags, and guidons rendered obsolete by Naming Commission implementation. Campaign and war service streamers awarded for active Confederate military service during the Civil War as an exception to the requirement for active Federal military service are no longer authorized for display by any unit in the U.S. Army. AR 600-8-22 and AR 840-10 will be updated accordingly to remove the authorization for Confederate streamers. Units previously authorized to display Confederate streamers will dispose of obsolete lineage certificates (DA Form 7775) NLT 1 September 2023.      c. This message announces the Humanitarian Service Medal (HSM) for those personnel who directly participated in the humanitarian assistance and disaster relief support provided to the people of Louisiana following the devastation caused by Hurricane Ida.  The HSM has been approved by the award authority for U.S. Service members, Coast Guardsmen, and Reserve Components (to include the National Guard), who were physically present in Louisiana and provided direct humanitarian assistance during the period 26 August 2021 to 30 September 2021. 12.
