OCTOBER 2024. To provide transparency and manage expectations, Military
Schools Branch releases monthly statistics of Soldiers scheduled for
SLC/MLC by Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) and the Evaluation
Board Order of Merit List (OML). These numbers reflect the last OML

ARMY STAFF SERGEANTS (SSG) ASSIGNED TO INSTALLATIONS IN EUROPE, 22 OCT
24. Memo from the Army G-9: Effective 14 December 2024, the renewal of
the exception to policy (ETP) is granted to the AR 420-1, para. 3-20k’s
prohibition on garrison commanders authorizing single Soldiers in the
grade of E-6 (SSG) permanently assigned to Europe-based units to reside
off post. Subject to the higher-level guidance, garrison commander can
authorize unmarried Army personnel in the grade of E6 assigned to
Europe-based units on Permanent Change of Station (PCS) orders to not be
mandatorily assigned to Unaccompanied Housing (UH) as directed by AR

critical role in maintaining the Army’s readiness and strength. The
negative impact of deletions, deferments, and no-shows of Soldiers on
assignment to detailed recruiting continue to hamper the Army’s ability
to meet this priority. It is critical that leaders at echelon not only
assist to reduce deletions, deferments, and no-shows, but also encourage
NCOs to become recruiters. All unit requests for deletion or deferment
for scheduled attendance at the Army Recruiter Course should be
submitted via a Personnel Action Request (PAR) via the IPPS-A system.
Army Senior Leader guidance is that these requests must be endorsed at
the General Officer (GO) or Senior Executive Service (SES) level in the

Effective 1 October 2024, RDE-AIP will be offered to initial term RA
Soldiers serving within units identified for rotational deployment. The
purpose of this incentive is to encourage Soldiers to extend their
service and remain within the unit for the duration of the deployment.
Payment is not authorized for United States Army Reserve (USAR) or Army
National Guard (ARNG) Soldiers, to include those serving in an active
status. Only enlisted Soldiers serving on their initial term of service
and who have an expiration of term of service (ETS) on or after the
unit's latest arrival date (LAD) and before the unit's projected R+90
(redeployment date + 90 days) is considered eligible to request and
