1. This message will expire NLT one year from date of issue and
supersedes MILPER 25-228 (Title: Amendment to MILPER Message 25-244, 4
June 2025, Army Fitness Test (AFT) Continuation of Entry Guidance on
Evaluation Reports, DA Form 67-10 series (OER), DA Form 2166-9 series
(NCOER) and DA Form 1059 series (AER)), 5 June 2025 . That MILPER has
been revoked due to an administrative error in the title.

Paragraph 7.d. is updated to: For Soldiers who fail to achieve minimum
standards and requirements, IAW references B. and G., the rater will
enter/select “FAIL”. The rater must further explain and address a FAIL
status entry within the narrative space provided. Comments on FAIL
entries may include the reasons for failure and note any progress toward
meeting physical fitness standards. IAW reference G., if a Soldier
becomes ill or injured during the fitness test and fails to achieve the
minimum passing score, he or she is considered a test failure. An
example of this entry is as follows: ACFT: FAIL 20250125. Or, if the
rated Soldier took a record AFT, then: AFT: FAIL 20250905.
