S1NET Message Summary - 8 Nov 21

1. 2021 ADJUTANT GENERAL'S CORPS "OF THE YEAR". On behalf of COL Marcus A.
Motley, Chief of the Adjutant General's (AG) Corps, I am proud to announce
the opening of the AG Corps "Of the Year" nominations for calendar year
2021.  The MOI attached at the following link assigns responsibilities and
procedures for nominating and selecting the Adjutant General's Corps
Officer, Warrant Officer, Noncommissioned Officer, Soldier, Senior Civilian
/ Civilian, and Spouse of the Year for calendar year 2021 (1 January 2021 -

2. ATAP 22-02 PRE-KD CPT SPECIAL MARKET. Due to the delay in the release of
the CPT PSB results, ~700 YG18 officers who will be graduating from CCC
during the 22-02 movement cycle have not been able to participate in the
marketplace. To ensure that these officers are given the opportunity to
fully participate in the marketplace, the 22-02 AIM Marketplace will re-open
for all pre-KD Captains (including the group of YG18 officers) from 29
November 2021 through 10 December 2021. This gives units the opportunity to
interview and preference the YG18 officers. Current market preferences, for
both officers and units, will still be present in the Special Market.

3. 2022 US ARMY RETIREMENT PLANNING GUIDE. From the Director, Army
Retirement Services: Start your retirement planning 36 months before your
planned retirement date. Task #1 is to download the newest US Army
Retirement Planning Guide at the following link. Pass the Guide on to anyone
with 17 or more years of service.

4. ARMY TALENT ATTRIBUTE FRAMEWORK (ATAF) - JOB ANALYSIS SURVEY. On 4
November, the ATMTF distributed the ATAF Job Analysis Survey to Active Duty
officers and warrant officers. The results of the survey will support
identification of critical Knowledge, Skills, and Behaviors (KSBs) for duty
positions across the force. Publication of critical KSBs in job vacancy
announcements will empower officer and warrant officer preferencing in the
Army Talent Alignment Process (ATAP) marketplace by allowing them to
optimize their talents in support of unit requirements and identify
developmental opportunities to prepare them for future career objectives.
The following link contains additional details about the ATAF and the Job
Analysis Survey. https://www.milsuite.mil/book/message/965930

5. DFAS LAUNCHES NEW KIND OF MYPAY ACCOUNT FOR MILITARY GRAY AREA RETIREES.
From the Director, Army Retirement Services: A new kind of myPay account is
now available for Army National Guard, Air National Guard, Army Reserve,

8. NEW WEBSITE AND APP SEEK TO STREAMLINE ARMY'S EXCEPTIONAL FAMILY MEMBER
PROGRAM. From the USARC G-1: The Army is seeking feedback from families
currently enrolled in the Exceptional Family Member Program regarding the
new, centralized case management system, called the Army Enterprise EFMP
system (E-EFMP). Among the concerns and problems the E-EFMP hopes to solve
are issues that families have voiced over the past few years, such as repeat
paperwork with each move, inconsistencies from installation to installation
and having to physically visit an EFMP office to have their questions
answered. EFMP families can "test-drive" the new system and provide
feedback. Visit the following link for more information.

9. BRANCH/COMMAND ITEMS.

     a. OPERATION EAGLE DELIVERY-DELIVERING RESULTS IN GARRISON LSCO
TRAINING. Currently, the Soldiers of the 101st Airborne Division are
executing a 21-day Division Training Density exercise which allows the
brigades to conduct uninterrupted training to increase their tactical and
technical proficiencies across the division. Operation Eagle Delivery
continues to be one of the biggest success stories of the training. The
operation allows FRGs, spouses, and supporters of Soldiers in the 101st ABN
DIV (AA) to drop off care packages at the military post office. The packages
arrive unsealed with the name and unit of the intended Soldier. Once
inspected, the 101st Human Resources Company "Vipers" sorts the packages by
Brigade and prepares them for transport. The Company then performs a
tactical movement from their field site and delivers the packages. This
operation serves as an absolute win for HR Plans and Operation and creates a
foundation for incorporating SRC12 elements into the sustainment support of
large divisions. Congratulations to the 101st Airborne Division for leading
the way in HR innovation and ensuring HR endurance is incorporated into LSCO
training. Read more at the following link.
