MILPER Number: 25-448 Submission Timeline for Requesting Voluntary Active Federal Service (AFS) Retirement & Assignment Actions Active Guard Reserve (AGR)- Army Reserve

1.  This MILPER message will expire 30 September 2026 unless extended or incorporated into AR 600-8-24 and AR 635-200.


2.  The policy extension outlined in Reference A applies to Soldiers of the Regular Army, the Army National Guard (ARNG)/Army National Guard of the United States (ARNGUS) and United States Army Reserve (USAR) serving on Active Guard Reserve (AGR) tours, or on active service orders. The procedures outlined below apply only to Soldiers of the USAR serving on Active Guard Reserve.
