2.  This MILPER message describes the specific eligibility criteria for officers to request deferral of consideration for (opt-out of) the FY26 AC AMEDD colonel (COL), lieutenant colonel (LTC), or major (MAJ) AN, MS, SP or VC PSBs. This message only applies to officers in the primary zone (PZ) of consideration.
