S1NET Message Summary - 20250825

1. S1NET TRANSITION TO SHAREPOINT.  As we have been advised that Army Career Tracker (ACT) will sunset on or about 30 Sep 25, S1NET is gradually being transitioned to SharePoint, with a separate email group for S1NET Messages (see note at the end of this S1NET Message).  During this transition, links in the messages could be either on ACT or SharePoint.  The S1NET SharePoint site is public, and there is no membership required for army.mil accounts.  However, non-army.mil users (health.mil, mail.mil, etc.) must obtain DoD Guest Access to the Army 365 Hub before they can obtain access to the content on the SharePoint site. 3. HARDSHIP DUTY PAY-LOCATION RATES, 15 AUG 25. The attachment to this memorandum from OASD M&RA reflects the changes to the current list of location assignments designated for Hardship Duty Pay Location (HDP-L), consistent with section 352 of title 37 United States Code and DoD Instruction 1340.26. Increases to HDP-L for location assignments will be effective on September 1, 2025. 4. USARC INFO PAPER - TROUBLESHOOTING DECENTRALIZED PROMOTION ISSUES. From the USARC G-1:  This info paper was created to provide guidance to Soldiers and HR Professionals on how to prevent or troubleshoot issues (pay grade mismatches) with decentralized promotions (PV2 through SPC), including accelerated promotions authorized by USAREC. Effective immediately, adults and children working and/or participating in Army CYS programs do not require a Covid-19 Vaccine nor an immunization waiver for the Covid-19 Vaccine.
